EXCLUSIVE: Iyaz Confirms 'Hannah Montana' Appearance

In an interview which aired Thursday on “The Ralphie Radio Show”, singer Iyaz confirmed another collaboration with Miley Cyrus, and this time it’ll be a project that you can not only hear, but see as well.

“I’m actually on an episode of ‘Hannah Montana’ that’s coming out in August,” the Island-pop star revealed. “I’ve been watching the show for the past two, three years and I’m definitely happy that I can be a part of it.”

The singer first linked up with Cyrus behind the microphone, telling me last March that he worked on a song with Miley for the new “Hannah Montana” soundtrack, which will coincide with the final season. The series launches in to its last run of episodes on July 11. Iyaz will now also appear alongside Cyrus.

Iyaz partnered with Charice for the song “Pyramid,” which he also performed with the singer live on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” This summer, he joins up with fellow T.I.M.E. artist Sean Kingston on Jusitn Bieber’s “My World” tour.

“I think so, I think I am going to be on the second (leg of the tour),” said Iyaz of the prospects of traveling with Bieber through the winter, when the tour hits larger U.S. arenas. “We’re trying to get everything finalized so hopefully I am.”

EXCLUSIVE: Angelina Regrets Leaving Jersey Shore; Dates Seaside Heights Police Officer

When you watch the beginning of Season 2 on MTV’s hit reality show “Jersey Shore”, expect to catch Angelina Pivarnick in Miami well, “doing her thing” as a single lady. But that was taped then, and this is happening now: the self-proclaimed “Kim Kardashian of Staten Island” is once again love-struck in New Jersey.

“He’s a police officer from actually Seaside Heights where we filmed first season,” revealed Pivarnick of her boyfriend. She called in to “The Ralphie Radio Show” to promote the next installment of the fist-pumping series, set to air Thursday July 29 at 10 p.m. on MTV. “So that should make it a little more interesting for you.”

Will we see this cop, whose name is Paul, enforce the law on the show? Pivarnick didn’t divulge, however she did chat about what we may see of her when the next season begins.

“I hooked up with my share of guys in Miami,” she admitted. “I’m a classy girl but when I’m single and I’m partying… you know… I didn’t have a boyfriend so I did my thing.”

Pivarnick noted that her boyfriend and his family, who she is on good terms with, will not be watching the beginning of Season 2 “out of respect” for her. Filming is complete; however Angelina said that neither her nor any of the cast members have seen any footage other than what’s available on-line. She expects MTV will screen the episodes for the “guidos” and “guidettes” before the air date. While Pivarnick is curious to see the new season, she is already thinking about the third installment, and the rumors that this time around – she may be gone for good.

“It’s unfortunate that it’s gotta be like that. I feel like we are the original eight,” Angelina said. “I’m back on the second season, I think that we should all be going back to the Jersey Shore.”

Going back for Season 3… does that mean Angelina is back in good graces with the crew after Season 2? Stay tuned.

Looking to ignite a little spark behind the movement of her second single, Priscilla Renea teamed up with B.o.B. for a remix to "Love Sick." The track world premiered on "The Ralphie Radio Show."

Renea said she first linked up with the Atlanta-rapper on Twitter, and later met through a mutual friend at a studio. The original version is on Renea's debut LP, Jukebox.

EXCLUSIVE: Jon Gosselin's Girlfriend Speaks

Speaking on "The Ralphie Radio Show" in her first media interview, Ellen Ross classified her relationship with boyfriend Jon Gosselin as "very serious", and confirmed she's the first of his post-marriage girlfriends to meet all of his children.

“He’s met everyone close to me, my friends and family,” Ross revealed, adding that the father of eight has been well received. “I told them ‘He’s just a regular guy and he treats me great and you’ll see that when you meet him.’”

Gosselin and Ross met at a mutual friend’s barbeque party in the Harrisburg, PA area. The couple has been together for three months, and there was an acclimation period to the attention received from fans, foes, and the paparazzi.

“It was kind of weird at first,” Ross admitted of the constant presence of photographers. “But I just try to ignore them and act like they’re not there.”

The rumors are certainly there – just Google News search “Jon Gosselin.” Radar Online reports that it was Ross that suggested and pushed Gosselin to obtain a tattoo of a dragon which spans most of his back. But his girlfriend denied that claim on “The RRS.”

“The tattoo artist is my very good friend, he’s done work on me before,” said Ross, who claimed Radar took the quotes out of context. “When Jon said he wanted to get a tattoo, I said, ‘I have a good idea of who you should go to.’”

Ross approves of the tattoo and was impressed with the detail, however she doesn’t see herself getting a matching one in the near future.

EXCLUSIVE: Soulja Boy Tell 'Em Tour Cancelled, According To SODMG DJ

Last weekend, Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em’s Twitter account disappeared and then reappeared. Now it seems his first headlining tour is gone, with no word if it will also resurface.

“Just got (the) text tour is cancelled,” DJ Woogie, one of Soulja Boy’s mixtape DJs, tweeted to his followers on Wednesday. The day before Woogie typed, “NI***S F***ED ME UP WITH THIS TOUR I MISSED HELLA SHOW DOE SINCE JUNE 19TH (till) NOW!!!”

On a list of tour dates obtained by “The Ralphie Radio Show”, the “Youngest N Charge” Tour was originally slated to begin June 17 in Dallas. The trek would feature headliner Soulja Boy along with his S.O.D.M.G. crew, rapper Hurricane Chris and R&B singer Sammie, who sang the hook of S-Beezy’s hit, “Kiss Me Thru The Phone.”

“This summer Soulja Boy hittin’ his first headlining tour,” said fellow SOD Money Gang artist JBar on “The Ralphie Radio Show” last April. “They gettin’ the other acts together right now… I heard Drake, that’s the only name I’ve heard so far.”

Soulja Boy and his camp have not talked publicly about the ill-fated tour. The rapper recently performed “Pretty Boy Swag” at the BET Awards Pre-Show. The track appears to be the first single from his third LP Dre, slated for a July 28 release. The album will also feature collaborations with KanYe West and Justin Bieber.

EXCLUSIVE: Secondhand Serenade's John Vasely on New LP; Chance GaGa Encounter

The entertainment business is small. Just ask Secondhand Serenade’s John Vasely, who only a year and a half ago, shared a dressing room with a then up-and-coming Lady GaGa.

“It’s so important that you enjoy what you do and how you do it,” Vasely said while in-studio to promote his new album on “The Ralphie Radio Show.” Secondhand Serenade’s third LP, Hear Me Now, drops August 3. “(You should be) good to the people you tour with. There’s no point in being a jerk.”

Vasely noted that he and GaGa shared a few words but didn’t exchange digits. At the show, the songstress performed before Secondhand, as “Fall for You” was a massively-popular hit.

The aforementioned song put Vasely on a list of artists that will no longer grow: those who can say they premiered their music video on MTV’s “TRL.” With the void left from the cancellation of the daily countdown show, Vasely doesn’t know how he’ll reveal the video for his latest single, “Something More.”

“We filmed the video and it’s getting edited and everything right now,” he said. “I’m sure the label has some plans.”

EXCLUSIVE: Tino Coury Prepares Fall LP Release With Label To Be Named

All in all, singer Tino Coury really can’t complain. After relocating from Pittsburgh, PA to Los Angeles to pursue a music career, he finds himself climbing the charts with his catchy power-ballad, “Diary”. Now, Coury is preparing to sign a record deal while finishing up his debut LP, which he hopes to release this fall.

“There’s some things going on with that,” Coury said in response to a comment I made about a rumored record deal. “The Ralphie Radio Show” learned from a source close to Universal Motown Records that the label was actively pursuing the crooner. “Now we’re kind of working out some things and moving so, you’ll be hearing some word about that soon.”

The former high school football standout isn’t allowing a deal or lack thereof to hold up his progress in not only promoting “Diary” but recording an album.

“I have a lot of songs done, yunno like, 15 to 20 songs actually recorded,” Coury revealed. “I’m gonna keep on going until I have a deadline, and then once that deadline comes the A&R will pick the best ones and the right ones that fit, and kind of narrow it down.”

Coury, calling in from Los Angeles to “The RRS”, spoke about his upbringing in the Steel City, where he aspired to play college football before shattering his wrist, and subsequently his pigskin aspirations.

“That injury was the turning point for me. Once that happened, I really kind of made music my career and took it to the next level,” said Coury. “(Before the injury) I was being recruited by like, D-1 AA schools like Villanova, New Hampshire. Some D-1 A (schools) like Eastern Michigan and Buffalo.”

If nothing else, the wrist injury ensured that he would be living in warmer climates for the rest of his life. But there are some lingering effects from the accident.

“I have three huge scars on it,” Coury noted. “But I’m like in full movement basically and I was told in like another 40 years, that’s when it’s really going to hurt.”

RRS AUDIO: Lady GaGa In The Wrong For Wandering In To Yanks Clubhouse

Download the segment

IMHO, it wasn't a good look on Lady GaGa's part to enter the clubhouse at Yankee Stadium last Friday, after the Yankees lost the opening game of the Subway Series to the cross-rival Mets. The three main reasons:

- GaGa wouldn't approve if someone simply talked their way in to the backstage area of her concert.
- Media access is much more broad and not as controlled at a sporting event as opposed to most concerts.
- The players aren't singers or musicians with seperate, closed off dressing rooms. Everyone is in the same room - you also have family and children there.

I love the Yankees, I love GaGa, but the simply put, the singer is in the wrong on this one. For my full opinion, download the segment at the top of the thread.

EXCLUSIVE: Fefe Dobson Reveals Acting Role With Ne-Yo, Pushes Back LP Release

While in-studio Thursday on “The Ralphie Radio Show”, singer Fefe Dobson revealed that she is working with an acting coach to prepare for an on-camera role with label mate/singer Ne-Yo.

“I can’t give too much information!” Dobson teased after dropping the R&B crooner’s name. “We get to work together and it’s gonna be awesome and you’ll see it soon.”

You could speculate that perhaps Dobson will appear in Ne-Yo’s music video for his new single, “Beautiful Monster.” The only scenario that Fefe ruled out was a possible cameo in her music video for “Ghost” as she says the final product is finished and will be shown to the masses next week.

---
American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi and singer/songwriter/guitarist Kevin Rudolf collaborated to write the track with Dobson, who is pushing it to radio as her next single from Joy. Dobson also noted that her sophomore album, which initially had a June release set, is now postponed until August 17.

“Yunno, we just got the single going and you need a certain amount of time to have a lead up,” explained Dobson as to the project’s delay.

The Canadian-born singer currently finds herself back on a radio promo tour to stir up interest for the record – similar to 2003, when she played radio shows, made TV cameos, and opened for the likes of Justin Timberlake. But despite the time passed, Dobson finds that radio disc jockeys and program directors still remember her from the days of “Take Me Away” and “Everything.”

“I’m going in and people are like, ‘I was at this station, now I’m here and it’s good to see you again,” said Dobson. “But I also want to reintroduce myself… because I’m a different person, I’m grown up and (my) music’s changed, and you have to reintroduce that and yourself as an artist.”
---

BTW, this is the photo that Ralphie showed Dobson from when he first met her in the spring of 2004.

---
In addition to traveling across the nation to different radio stations within the past couple of months, Dobson has also performed at events for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and toured with Hedley and Boys Like Girls. Mix in the radio promo, acting classes, and personal time – and it’s a little easier to understand why Dobson didn’t want to drink any alcohol last Wednesday at Kevin Rudolf’s CD release party in New York.

“I ordered myself a Diet Coke,” proclaimed Dobson. “And the woman gave it to me for free, because it was a Diet Coke, and she probably thought I was lame.”
